To ensure optimal airflow, we removed three fans from the kitchen/dining area and the living room. Additionally, we addressed the non-illuminating light in the front foyer. After confirming that the socket had the proper voltage, we replaced the bulbs, restoring functionality to the light fixture.

Transformer Replacement

Removed the failed transformer after signs of overheating were observed, including smoke residue on the wall above the unit. Installed a new transformer, made all electrical connections, and verified proper voltage and operation to ensure the system was functioning safely and reliably.

Install Flood Light

A need for enhanced lighting on the back of the house led to the installation of a customer-supplied flood light on the screen porch. We expertly centered the light and utilized the switch leg from the existing fan box, running 14/2 Romex to connect to the white bell box, ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetics.

We installed a new ABB/GE panel equipped with new feeder breakers and a whole home surge protector. Additionally, we installed smoke detectors in each bedroom and living space where none were present, enhancing safety throughout the home.

Dedicated Circuit

To ensure reliable power for the appliances, we installed two dedicated 20 amp circuits for the freezer and fridge. Additionally, we added outlets behind the television while tapping into an existing circuit in the garage for convenience. Power issues to the outside island were resolved by replacing a non-functional GFCI due to water intrusion with a weather-resistant model. Power loss to the kitchen outlet and vent hood prompted an investigation. We found a loose connection on a dining room outlet, which we tightened while also removing a damaged wire piece. This review is long overdue! Matt has been an awesome to work with. He's come to our home and business multiple times for a few small jobs and one big job. Most recently we had him give us a second opinion vs someone a contractor sent out, he was more but explained exactly why. He explained that the previous person hadn't included multiple items that would be needed to complete the job, meaning would be hit with an extra surprise at the end. Due to Matt's honesty we went with him without a second thought. No matter what kind of electrical work you need: panel change, panel replacement, outlet repair/replacement, led lights or even a whole home rewire. Rider Electric is the electrical company for the job.
